Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service: NLFT

The Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a multi-disciplinary outpatient service that provides assessments and treatments for children and young people who are experiencing serious mental health problems, or marked emotional and behavioural problems which are complex and enduring and have a significant impact on the child or young person's functioning.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

Those registered with a GP in Barnet, Enfield or Haringey who are

  • Young people aged up to 17 years old 
  • Young people with suspected autism >7years old (and under 17)
  • Carers of young people aged up to 17 years 

How to Refer

For referral advice, if the young person is known to the team.

NLFT CYPMH Crisis Response Service

Professionals are to contact NLFT CYPMH Crisis Response Service if a young persons mental health is deteriorating / acute mental risk. This may avoid an unnecessary long wait in A&E as some cases can be seen in a CAMHS crisis hub or managed remotely by their crisis team.
